Fire Drill at THLA – Enhancing Safety and Preparedness

On November 23, 2024, Thuan Hung Long An Company (THLA) organized a fire drill with the participation of all staff, employees, and local professional fire-fighting teams. This activity aimed to enhance awareness, improve emergency response skills, and ensure maximum safety for people and property.

THLA Fire Drill Program

The drill started at 8:30 AM and was divided into two main parts:

• Theoretical Training:
  • Presentation of common causes of fires and explosions.
  • Instructions on proper use of fire extinguishers.
  • Introduction to safe evacuation procedures during emergencies.
    
• Practical Training:
  • Simulation of a hypothetical fire in the warehouse area.
  • Execution of fire-fighting and evacuation steps as per assigned scenarios.
    

Professional and Effective Execution

When the alarm sounded, all teams quickly carried out their tasks:

• Company staff:
  • Adhered strictly to pre-trained evacuation procedures, ensuring order and safety.
    
• On-site fire-fighting team:
  • Quickly extinguished the simulated fire using CO2 extinguishers and water hoses.
  • The first aid team supported “injured” individuals following the rescue protocols.
    

High Praise from Authorities

The drill concluded at 11:30 AM, earning high praise from local fire-fighting authorities. THLA demonstrated collaboration, proactivity, and professionalism in handling emergencies. This activity also reflects the company’s efforts to build a safe, professional, and sustainable working environment.
